Scalo Technologies is happy to report a successful launch for the new initiative we are supporting to create the next generation of entrepreneurs.

The company has entered into a partnership with the Young Founders School (YFS), which is expanding its efforts to transform how entrepreneurship is taught globally.

Abdumalik Mirakhmedov, our director and co-founder, was among the influential entrepreneurs, industry leaders, and change-makers who attended the recent YFS Gala Dinner in Singapore, which raised $485,000 in sponsorship.

The funds will help YFS reach more underserved students, and offer them life-changing opportunities, through its innovative entrepreneurship education, internships, and mentorship programmes.

Since being founded eight years ago in Hong Kong, YFS has emerged as the largest entrepreneurship platform for high school students across Asia and Africa, impacting over 7,000 young minds.

By 2026, it aims to transform the lives of 10,000 students annually through comprehensive classes, and to empower 1,000 students annually through internships, especially targeting underserved communities.

At Scalo, we understand how technology is shaping the future for tomorrow’s entrepreneurs and business leaders, and want to help young people discover and follow career paths that follow the direction the world is going.

Following its launch in 2016, YFS has expanded its reach to over 12 countries and regions – India, Saudi Arabia, Shenzhen, Pakistan, the Philippines, Kyrgyzstan, Nigeria, Singapore, USA, Australia, Hong Kong and Bangladesh.

YFS is a Hong Kong-based non-profit, with a team consisting of preeminent educators, startup entrepreneurs, and leading corporate leaders from across the Asia Pacific region.

Partnering with over 250 global companies, it has facilitated almost 600 internships, giving students invaluable hands-on experience.

The YFS programme includes an Ideation Workshop, a Startup Bootcamp, and Mini-Courses covering essential 21st-century skills.
